Thursday March 17 Meet at (or outside) the CALL-IS business meeting (starts at 6:15) after the meeting ends (around 7:15 pm). We do not have a reservation anywhere and we have heard that it may be difficult to impossible to find a place to eat because of St Patrick's Day crowds... but as of now the "plan", if we can be said to have a plan, is to meet and walk over to the French Quarter to observe (participate in?) the fun. Don't come too hungry though as we may have trouble finding a place to accommodate us. We have a reservation for 8 at 8:00 at Cochon, on Tchoupitoulas St a few blocks from the Conv Center. Heavy on the pork, with some seafood choices. Class Cajun. Those who wish to traipse over to the French Quarter after dinner for drinks and revelry are invited to do so. Nina
I'm sorry I had to miss this one but I had a last minute invitation to join very old original pioneer-CALL-days friends and collaborators from the CALL-IS open meeting, an offer I couldn't refuse. St. Patrick's Day in New Orleans, lots of webheads together in any event, who could not have fun in New Orleans that night. I promise to join you Friday night - Vance

New Orleans was amazing. I will never forget the experience at the TESOL Convention. The best part was socializing with Vance and the team of Webheads.
